Terms of Service
The practical agreement between Snoot and the people and teams who use it.
Effective July 13, 2026
The agreement
These Terms govern your access to Snoot, a customer-chat service operated by Robert DeLuca in the United States. By creating an account or using Snoot, you agree to these Terms. If you use Snoot for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to this agreement.
Accounts and workspace responsibility
Provide accurate account information, keep access links and credentials secure, and tell Snoot promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Workspace admins control members, settings, billing, and customer data. You are responsible for activity under your account and for obtaining any notices or consent required before collecting information through your widget.
Acceptable use
You may not use Snoot to:
- break the law, violate another person's rights, or send unlawful or deceptive messages;
- collect highly sensitive data that Snoot is not designed to handle, including payment-card, health, or government-identifier data;
- upload malware, probe or bypass security, disrupt the service, or access another workspace;
- spam, harass, impersonate, or facilitate abuse; or
- resell or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly allows it.
Customer data
You keep ownership of the information and content you submit to Snoot. You give Snoot a limited permission to host, process, transmit, and back up that data only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the data you submit and the instructions you give Snoot.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Current plan prices, responder limits, and included features appear on the Pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe on the monthly or annual schedule you select. Taxes may be added where required. You authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
You can cancel through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and paid access continues until then. Except where law requires otherwise, charges already paid are non-refundable. Contact support if a billing mistake or service failure deserves a fair review.
Launch pricing was published July 13, 2026. A workspace that starts a paid plan before October 1, 2026 keeps that base plan price for at least 12 months from its first paid invoice while it remains continuously subscribed. After that, Snoot will give at least 30 days' notice before an increase. A price change will not rewrite an already-paid billing period. Downgrades may limit responder access, customization, and visible history according to the selected plan.
Service changes and availability
Snoot is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, or removed, but Snoot will not quietly charge for a feature it claims is included. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, incidents, or events outside Snoot's reasonable control. There is no uptime service-level agreement unless Snoot agrees to one in writing.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Snoot at any time. Snoot may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, security risk, nonpayment, or legal necessity. When practical, Snoot will give notice and a chance to fix the problem. You remain responsible for charges incurred before termination.
Snoot's intellectual property
Snoot and its software, design, brand, and documentation belong to Snoot and its licensors. These Terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of it. If you send feedback, Snoot may use it without restriction or payment, while respecting the confidentiality of your customer data.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, Snoot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Snoot does not promise uninterrupted operation or that the service will meet every legal, compliance, or support requirement.
To the extent permitted by law, Snoot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Snoot's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Snoot in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.
Disputes, changes, and contact
Before filing a claim, contact Snoot and give both sides a reasonable chance to resolve it informally. The laws that apply to Snoot's operation govern these Terms, while any mandatory consumer protections in your location continue to apply.
Snoot may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates will be dated here and, when appropriate, communicated in the product or by email. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. Questions belong at [email protected].
